Getting up early for medical checkups was hardly anything new to the Andorian - he’d been doing it all his life. Better to get up early and cut the queue, so to speak, rather than wait til after duty, when sickbay was simply overflowing with visitors. Preliminary checks first, of course: uniform on, commbadge in place and hair neatly combed back. And of course, trademark enthusiastic grin. Get over this and the best part of the day would come. Satisfied with his appearance now he headed out of his quarters, towards the turbolift.

Walking into sickbay was the same experience as always. Brightly lit, the barely noticeable smell of cleaning fluid in the air - like most hospitals and clinics he’d been to. That wasn’t a bad thing, though! With antennae waving lazily about in the air he approached one of the medical officers on duty with his usual cheery grin. “Hey! Um. I’m here for my medical checkup? I’m new on board.”

“Welcome aboard Ensign. Please have a seat over there.” Trax pointed to the main biobed. As he grabbed a tricorder and started to scan the officer. “Is there anything that your medical records don’t tell me new ailments or issues. ” Trax asked calmly to the officer.

“None that I know of.” He replied smilingly, hopping up on the biobed with antennae swivelling to face the doctor. At times his classmates would tell him that it was creepy - but hey, biology was a weird, weird thing and that was okay! Dark green eyes studied the doctor intently as he worked, with a sort of curiosity. Maybe. With Andorians it was so hard to tell.
