He knew that Romulans used that sort of power, but he himself had never been aboard a Romulan ship to see one up close. As the man gave out orders, he let him finish before Simon added to the introduction “Lieutenant Commander Simon Starr, of the federation starship Ark Angel, we’re here in response to a distress signal.”
