“I wouldn’t be surprised if something did show up…” Trainor replied as he began the scans. Tenzing was a little weary about Shaden, but it could have just been his personality or his annoyance with Starfleet.

Scans of the station came back in the green mostly except for two areas. One was near where Shaden had sent his comm call in the station’s main engineering room near the singularity core. The other was up on deck 15 near the station’s science labs. In both cases those areas failed to get a clear scan due to interference of a dampening field.

“I’m not surprised about Shaden’s reaction to our help now, Captain,” Trainor announced as he sent the data he collected of the station to the Captain’s armrest. “We’re looking at two possible dampening fields with one near Shaden and the other on station deck 15.” The Operations Chief tried to see what objects or equipment were near the two dampening fields, so maybe he could hypothesize what was being hidden.

The first dampening field on deck 15 was near the science labs on the station. This one seemed setup as a multi-spectrum and phased dampening field. It was as a result drawing ALOT of power from the station’s power grid to contain and dampen whatever was inside the science labs.

The second field was much smaller and actually was slightly moving back and forth possibly meaning it was on a person! Probably Shaden himself if Trainor had to theorize. It was a self contained dampening field which was about palm size in overall size probably in his pocket. Perhaps a control PADD of some kind?
