She tapped her comm badge. =^=Allendor to Miz’uki, Transporter room repaired. I’m gonna trace this power draw back to engineering. Let me know if you need me.=^= She set her bag down and began to remove the panel.

The power draw took Mazi not in the direction of engineering oddly enough, but down the hall away from the XO and security teams to a junction box that had blown open and its door was laying on the side of the floor. Checking it found this wasnt the source of the surges clearly but further damage in likely a long line of knocked out regulators and such she could take forever to repair or continue on in her tracing work to see where it led.

A frown creased the woman’s brow when she saw the panel on the floor. Curious just how far it went, she went to investigate. Her thought was that she could repair everything back to the source, then not be able to fix the core reason. Better to not waste time. She went on to see if the next junction box was blown as well. She would check it, she told herself, then call the CE.

Mazi’s search along the junction line took her down the length of deck 32 to a dead end where another junction box lay blown open. This one had thick cabling leading up and down, which from the power draw showed it was going up. A crawl space nearby would let her continue her travel if she wanted up through the decks....

Mazi growled. “What is all the stars?” She shook her head, set the box’s covering against the wall and opened the hatch to the crawl space as she tapped her comm. =^=Allendor to Miz’uki, I’m at the end of the hall on deck 32, power surge tracking leads up. Heading to Deck 31. Out…=^= Slinging her bag over her shoulder and holding the extra tool kit the best she could, she worked her way up to 31 and tried to find the next sign of the surge.
