Mazi’s check found a conduit of wires blown out from the ceiling by about 4 inches. The wires were electrical in nature feeding into normally the transporter system for beaming organic matters which without it wasn’t safe. Replacing such wires could be done with spare repair kits in the room but would take a little bit of time.

Mazi watched the others leave and smiled. She preferred working alone, though was definitely a team player when it came down to it.

Checking the wiring and seeing what she needed, she powered down the transporter pad and took it offline to make the room null to anything that would ‘bite’ her. Well, she hoped, anyway. Gathering the needed components from a maintenance locker in the room, she was soon ankle deep in wires and tools and arms up in the ceiling panels trying to repair the broken section.

She was humming absently to herself as she worked.

As Mazi worked some of the lighting flickered showing another power draw across the station. Whatever was causing such a strain or drain was certainly impressive she would have to theorize as she worked. After all an artificial singularity core was no joke in power output.

Mazi finished the repairs in the transporter room then started working her way back towards engineering. Her first stop, her kit and the additional tool kit from the locker she had acquired, was the section junction box in the hall just down from the transporter room. She would check the levels there, then head back to the next box. Her goal was to eventually fix the line back to engineering then find the draw, itself.

She tapped her comm badge. =^=Allendor to Miz’uki, Transporter room repaired. I’m gonna trace this power draw back to engineering. Let me know if you need me.=^= She set her bag down and began to remove the panel.
