Simon nodded as the team went to investigate, he would catch up with them once he had spoken to the station personnel. Stepping towards the muffled voices, he stepped out of the room and looked for someone to at least give him some direction to who he was looking for, or to speak to the source of voices if that was appropriate.

As the XO left the transporter room he ran into two station crew arguing heatedly int heir own language. They seemed to have been so involved they missed Miz’uki and Kala earlier. The two turned finally noticing the XO “..You must be from the Ark Angel, where’s the rest of your team?” One of the two a male asked.

Simon nodded “that’s correct, and based on the fact that a distress call was made, my team are already getting to work to try and identify the source of the power drain,” the young command officer said. “We also have some people planet side dealing with anybody that has been injured,” he adds, referring to the other away team that was sent in addition to this one. “They will be meeting with Redal, however my team needs to get down to deck 36 so that we can see if we can’t do something about your core,” he offered. “Anybody here waiting for me to let them know we’re here, and I can ask a few questions of?” he asked.

”..Redal is an idiot, he was in charge of putting this station together and I swear the governement did it on the lowest bidder given all the power outages we got! By the way I’m Skewer..” He said.

Simon nodded in greeting as Skewer introduced himself, and let the two of them discuss the current situation, listening to everything happening.

The other man spoke, “..Your team would best use the emergency conduit accesses, turbolift power has been spotty, would be bad to get stuck in the car..” he said without introducing himself, again also showing the two arguing pair previously hadnt even seen the engineers and science team go by. “..As for someone waiting for you? No, Chief Shaden is down in engineering in his work room frezily trying to figure this out with his team and keep the core stable. He claims he can keep it from going boom but more and more I’m having my doubts, but blow outs ruined the safety regulators of for organic processing in the transporter to get us off here..” He went on.

Skewer spoke, “..And dont forget to leave now without an evac order would be a dereliction of duty..” he said.

Waving his fellow crew off, “..Yeah yeah, when we all go boom at least it’ll be in the line of duty..” He said then turned back to the XO, “..So where is your engineering teams?” he asked.

Problems with the turbolift, blowouts, and the core unstable. They had work to do, and it wasn’t a small task. Giving the figures that were arguing a moment, once Simon was noticed, the man turned to the XO. When the unidentified officer asked about the Engineering teams, Simon looked toward the turbolift and hoped that the team were not stuck in there. “Currently we’ve got a couple looking at those blowouts, and our Chief Engineer is on the way to the core,” he replied. When he heard about the problems with the turbolift, he didn’t mention that one of the Engineers was an android. “We’ve also got doctors in the central district should you wish to evacuate those nearby - we’ve prepared for that as well,” he informed them both. “Hopefully, we’ll find out what’s going on with the core, so - when did the problems start?” he asked his own first question, having given them the answer they were looking for.
