Simon was looking at his console, when his quarters filled with the computer’s voice “voice input not registered, please try again.”

For the third time that day “Computer, cancel recording,” Simon resigned. He just didn’t know how to begin one of the more difficult messages he had to send. Then his PaDD reminded him that it was only 10 minutes to his appointment with the counsellor. Maybe he would be able to help in some way. He hoped this as one of the three things he didn’t have to tell his parents about Tom, but he knew that a promise was a promise.

The turbolift doors opened on deck 11, an area of the ship he needed to vist a little more at some point when he had a moment, maybe after the meeting with Guy he would check in with the other people working down here.

He approached guy’s office and pressed the chime exactly when his appointment was scheduled.

“Come in.” He shouted a bit busy searching for his notebook “where the hell I put it? Where!”
Guy was never found unprepared and that time he did not wanted to seem an idiot.
“Ah-AH!” He joyed as the notebook on the sofa was found between the creeks

Simon entered when the counsellor welcomed him in, but let him find his notebook before approaching. Once he had found it, he approached further and asked “have everything you need, counsellor?” Making sure the counsellor was ready before Simon took a seat and discussed his own problems.

“Yeah, yeah I do have it!” He showed the notebook in the air “Sorry for the delay… uh can I serve you something, Commander?” He asked gently the First Officer.

But then moving towards the replicator itself to take something, Guy remembered something he wanted to ask “Commander, it is not a problem if we move to the arboretum. Today it’s empty and it is a new experience to me too. The fact is that… these days I am trying new method to counsel people.”
The proposal made everything so different and put Guy under a weirder light than before… what the hell is happening?

Simon knew that Guy was one of those counsellor’s who was usually direct and got straight into things. So when he asked about having the session elsewhere, it did surprise him somewhat. Though the aboretum was a nice place, he had been there a couple of times. “I have no problem with that, counsellor,” he said “sometimes it’s nice to get the change of scenery,” he said with a smile. “But I will take a orange juice with ice,” he added, with a slight smirk, but didn’t take a seat, letting Guy lead the way.
