It was shortly after getting the Warp Drive back online, that Miz’uki came back up on the bridge. however, as went to sit down at her station, once again she saw insects crawling all over the console and seat, she jumped back up holding back a very feline hiss. after realizing it was just her mind playing tricks on her again, she cursed herself harshly grumbling angrily to herself for a few moments

During the last 5 minutes, since she had got the warp core back online and her trip up to the bridge, her mind had been racing. not only had she failed to pull off the miracle worker maneuver, of coming in under the estimate, but now her mind was continuing to play tricks on her. she thought back to how she acted on the bridge, when the intruders had them all gathered, this was also causing her frustration, She turned to look at who was left on the Bridge she needed to talk to someone, and she spotted the captain. “Captain…D…Do you mind, if we talk in Private?” she asked, clearly something was bothering the Feline Chief.

Drudoc turned in her chair regarding Miz’uki a moment, after a consideration she nodded. “..In my ready room then Lieutenant..” She said turning things over to NLt Alerty on the bridge.

Once the pair were in her ready room Drudoc moved to feed her pet fish with some raw meat as the basketball sized Romulan fish fed eagerly at the offerings. Once sated Drudoc turned to take her seat behind her desk, gesturing for Miz’uki to do the same on the opposite side. “..Can I get you a drink Lieutenant?” She offered.

Miz’uki collapsed into the chair looking exhausted “Some warm milk might help It might be a stretch to expect Caitian Gracer Milk to be in the system…” she said clearly upset her ears were drooping and her tail moved lazily showing how she was feeling her strange eyes One green one yellow looked very sad and self-loathing as she sat there

”..I’m sure its in the system..” Drudoc said turning to the replicator and a moment later a small warm glass came into view which Drudoc presented to Mizuki. Drudoc then returned to the replicator again and ordered herself a chilled glass of a strong minty and honey scented tea which she then sat in her chair. “..Now then what seems to have you looking so down, Lieutenant?” Drudoc inquired.

she took a drink of the warm milk then spoke”Its a number of things…it was so completely pathetic of me how I acted on the Bridge when we were boarded by those pirates…and then repairing the warp drive…I tried to rally my team and be like the greats Tucker, Scott, LeForge, O’Brian, Torres and even you! my team and I should have finished that repair even faster and proven ourselves to be Miracle workers!” she said “I just feel like despite everything I have done so far to improve my Engineering knowledge and skills I am no closer to my goal than when I first visited the USS Apache as a Kitten” she said softly
