OOC: As Rob is gonna be away for a little while, I’ll get a side-sim on the go for you guys while we wait for him to recover. Wish you a speedy recovery Capt. This is going to be set days before the incident on the bridge, so anyone feel free to join in. :)IC: Simon hadn’t sat down with the crew in some time. His paperwork had kept him from visiting 17/18 forward and with the crew of the Browns Town on board, his schedule has been busier than ever. He went over to the replicator and ordered a shephard’s pie with cheese. As he waited for a few moments he took a breath. It was a busy day still, but at least he’d managed to find a moment to get something to eat. The replicator produced his meal as he took it and went over to sit at one of the tables, just looking to see who else was around, and also being ready to see the crew if they had any requests. It had been a few weeks, but his weekly XO-lunch could now resume.
“Simon, would it be a good idea to update the menu in ten forward, keep things fresh from the captain?” Asked the bartender, having come to him to ask for some extra supplies for drinks. “You have something prepared?” Simon asked, as the bartender pulled out a draft menu. “And why would we carry that? It’s illegal,” Simon laughed at the handwritten Romulan Ale, not matching the rest of the menu. “It doesn’t look like Tel’lecks writing,” the bartender said. “But I definitely didn’t put it on there,” the barkeep looked a little nervous. “Well, we do have a Romulan captain, but no drinking on the job, remember? And I wouldn’t want to be a bad influence on Tel’eck now,” Simon said with a smile. “I’ll look this over, and get back to you, OK?” Simon replied as he got the menu sent to his PaDD. The barkeep nodded, and headed off. It was going to be one of those days…

Simon looked over the menu one more time, there were some new Romulan dishes the chef wanted to try out, and Simon thought it would be good for the Captain, so approved almost everything on the new menu as possibilities. “These are good,” he said, going over to the bar to speak to the chef. His lunch this week had been quiet for once. “I’ll send you the list of the ones that are possible, but limit what ones you do to three for now, don’t want to add too many new things at once,” Simon said with a smile.
“Thanks, Simon,” the chef said as he looked over the list and began deciding in which order he would begin releasing the new options. Simon went back over and finished off his lunch, and began to make his way back to the bridge.
