Catt laughed a bit when Tel’ecrk described the Captain as a big softy. She was probably right that the Captain cared about her crew.. But didn’t think she would spare the rod if one of those crew breached regulations. She was amazed at what the kids had done to find privacy. The field blocking the combadges was a issue though as it created a potential danger. “Um you know that if your mother asks the computer where you are that the ship is going to say your not on the ship if it can’t find your combadge. That could get you in really bat trouble. But it’s a great hiding spot as good as any I have seen.”, Catt said looking about while she sat on the floor her voice as soft as ever. She didn’t quite trust the hammock to be able to hold her weight. She wondered if the com signal was actually cut off as the padds needed computer tie ins to function at more then basic functioning. “I will need to get back to the arboretum soon. I don’t want the plants to get lonely..”, she finally said as she rearranged a few tufts of fur that crawling had displaced.

”..Oh Mom has asked before and well....that’s why I think she may suspect where this is despite what I said. Since eventually one of the NE caretakers for us kids comes plodding along. But thats then when the game gets fun you see? Lilith and I rigged little timing sensors from our 3rd grade science class! When someone gets within a certain range it pings one of the PADDs here and we then scurry out to somewhere else nearby! So its like hide and seek! You’re the first adult I ever showed this too.” She said with an innocent smile.

At the declaration she had to leave so soon, Tel’eck pouted a bit. “..Aww but you only got here!” She protested.

Catt murred, “I am supposed to be working right now. I haven’t even met my boss so I don’t know how he’ll react if I disappear. Besides I need to sing to the plants so that they grow and bloom.”, she replied tail and ears indicating amusement.

CAtt wiggled her ears and posed her tail in a comical manner as she crossed her eyes,”But theres always a few moments to be silly here or there as long as adults don’t see you.”, and Catt giggled.

”..Well I wouldnt want you to get into trouble with your department head, and some of those plants are kind cute..” She said after a bit then sighed, “..Alright come on let’s go back..” she said giving in.

Tel’eck Andone (Troublemaker)

Catt got up and followed , “You remind me of my friend Simon Starr. Always so serious. I ack silly trying to make him laugh and he lectures me about something else. He’s a really nice guy but I have to woder why he’s my friend. I tend to be silly when I am not working. I think it’s because most of my life I spent running away from danger. Oh well. It’s either be silly or cry all the time and it’s hard to be cute when your crting.”, And she exited the jeffries tubes after Tel’eck crawled out.
