Vronclon heard a strange rumor that the captain was either a Romulan or a Vulcan. He, himself was confused for the captain a couple of times. Maybe his investigation abilities ate slipping because he didn’t even check to see the profiles for the command staff like he used to. Maybe he just c assumed it would be another human as usual.
