“My name is Guy, Guy Freeman. Do not worry, I can help if you will grant me to look at some patients. I had studied medicine when I was younger. Now look at me, I seem an old poor rat.”

Another of the Brown’s Town crew NE’s which was near to Guy looked confused at his statements. “..Are you high too?” the confused NE said, clearly having been knocked up on pain killers a short time before by a nurse so he was running on his own ‘high’.

Arthur stood silently by the door. He had his hands clasped behind him with a phaser on his right side. His knife was in a back-sheath laying horizontally on the back of his belt. He stayed silent unless approached, his entire job was to ensure things didn’t get violent.

For Arthur the nurses, doctors and other medical staff seemed busy but not overly so. None of the Browns Town crew were being troublesome though a few did question now and then where they were and why things looked so confusing. But calming words from the NEs of the Ark Angel set things straight for now.

Dominic looked towards lieutenant freeman bit not directly at him as he spoke “I can take all the help I can get. I’m focusing on the more severe patients out of all of them to avoid anything worse happening.” Dominic explained as he brought his focus back to the patient he was healing.

Guy silently nodded and as he knew where all tools were, he took a medical tricorder and a tissue repairer to heal the patients and treat the most needing ones. A couple was sitting together in one of the seats: the man seemed ok, the woman had a huge burnt part on her face and many cuts appeared to be leaking blood.

Guy went near them and as he draw out the tricorder he applied the repairer to the injuries the lady got.

“Hello, I am Guy. Lieutenant Guy Freeman” he started talking “don’t worry I am an able medic. Tell me, what are your names? I am here to help you” He smiled faking his cold character. Since he was counselor too, He used his competence to start and reassure the trembling folks.

Dominic shook his head shrugging off what guy had said and began to focus on the patient before him fixing whatever he could “does anything hurt at all? I want to know so I can fix it to the best of my ability.” He stated avoiding eye contact from the patient as fixed any burns and broken bones.

Moving to the next patient in the biobed line, Dominic would approach a woman in the old style 23rd century blue color, marking her likely as from the Browns Town medical or science departments. She had a deep gash down her right side of her forehead, and a medical gauze was covering her left eye which seeped a milky red liquid. It didnt take a leap of logic to figure the woman had lost her left eye in the crash of the Browns Town. The gauze would obviously need to be removed and the eye socket cleaned up to prevent infection, plus to check for further shards of any kind of what caused the eye’s loss.

”..Mostly got a ....headache doctor…” The woman wheezed, clearly numbed from the crash and limited meds that the Browns Town survivors had scavenged and probably in a bit of shock of what was going on.

Dominic nodded giving her a mild pain relief for the head and started to care for the gash and the missing eye” alright I’ve giving something for the headache and I’m going to clean out your eye socket to prevent infection from starting and I’d like to see if any shards are present in your eye socket. If so I’ll be removing them carefully. ” he explained as he tended to her ” your a medical officer too?” Dominic questioned politely to the woman.

Once the hypo was delivered the woman seemed to relax some. When Corvax removed the eye patch and gauze he found it was mostly cleaned well. Though scans did show some micro-shrapnel pieces near the front of the socket. Some tweezers would be easy enough to get them out.

At his question of her being a medical officer, the woman replied, “..Astrophysics actually in science. Got stuck under a collapsed support beam when we crashed. Guess I was lucky to only loose an eye rather then getting crushed like many others..” she said with a sigh.

Dominic grabbed some tweezers to prepare the removal of the shrapnel. ” I had a relative who enjoyed astrophysics. He’s been long gone for many years though. Now I am going to carefully remove the shrapnel from your eye socket. If you feel any discomfort or pain let me know OK?” He said politely “and yes you are quite lucky to have only an eye. ” Dominic said in agreement as he carefully started to remove the shrapnel. “Like I said if there’s any discomfort or pain please tell me.” He reminded her gently.
