It was a few moments later and Drudoc entered the briefing room to have a quick meeting with her senior staff about their unexpected findings. She just hoped things went smoothly on a sudden search and rescue operation. Standing at the head of the table she awaited her staff’s arrival.

Miz’uki had been about to come up to the bridge when the call went out instead she went straight to the briefing room walking in “Hello Captain How arrre you today?” she purred politely walking over to the replicator she ordered herself a glass of warm milk and then turned to sit down at the table however as she did she thought she saw something move in the corner of her eye and she jumped spilling a small slosh of milk on the floor she growled under her breath as she sat down taking deep breaths and trying to calm herself down

”..Everything ok Lieutenant?” Drudoc asked.

Simon was just behind the captain as he made sure every member of the senior staff had PaDDs to have data transferred as it was required and took a water from the replicator, before taking a seat next to the captain. He looked on his PaDD while waiting for the rest of the senior staff to get up the specifications of the USS Brown Town, and it’s last known mission, to see if there were any logs accessible from the computer.

Information on the USS Brown Town was something along the lines of an old ghost story among the more superstitious like crew in Starfleet and the Federation. The ship had been adjusted to test a new series of warp formulas which was hoped to increase speed output and efficiency on ships with it by 25%. But as the tale and records went the ship no sooner had left space dock around Earth and cleared the Sol system and gone to warp then the ship had vanished from sensors no trace of it ever found......till now. The Anton class cruiser was in many forms a precursor to the later Miranda class, however, its short comings were in fuel, cargo storage, and weapons capacity, so it was mainly produced in low numbers up till 2255 when it was officially retired from productions. Those ships built served in mainly internal patrol and supply matters and were often see as a bit of a punishment posting for the time.
