It was a week later since the events among the ruins of the Lawgiver with the Gurdians and Shanok blowing himself up with the ruins. The Ark Angel has pressed on in her deep space mission of exploration into the untouched regions of the Beta Quadrant. Currently the ship was holding position in an empty region of space awaiting results from a series of launched survey probes to a nearby system to see if they would investigate it. Suddenly over by the operations station a series of beeps would result.

”..Report..” Drudoc said turning in her chair to the operation’s manager

The readings were that of what seemed distress call of a mid-23rd century Federation vessel. It’s ID was that of the USS Brown Town, an Anton class light cruiser reported lost in 2252 with all hands back in the alpha quadrant while testing a new warp field formula.

Upon the report Drudoc quirked an eyebrow, such a ship was certainly far from home and long ago given up for being lost with all hands. Turning to the helm station then. “..Helm, set a course into the system, full impulse.” Turning to the science station she said. “..Begin scans for the Brown Town once we’re within range of the distress signal.” She said turning back to the view screen she pressed a ship wide comm call =/\= Attention all hands, senior staff report to the briefing room in 10 minutes, we have picked up a distress call. =/\= She said.

Simon was also on the bridge and nodded to the captain as she began giving orders. He was already on his way to the briefing room when she sent the call, so that he could get it ready for the rest of the senior staff to arrive.
