NE Bunsen looked up in confusion from his experiment, “..Uh I am authorized to be here sir? I’m in your department, NE Bunsen. I’m working on my current science project for proving or disproving the theory of Valden’s string theory on temporal travel.” He said.

Lt. Frogue then responded, “Please tell us more....this sounds iffy to me. Also, these experiments must be authorized by myself. Now, again, please tell me more.”

”..Well I had authorized the experiment before you obtained the department head role sir. I guess it got lost in the transfer of orders..” Bunsen said with a shrug.

”..Anyhow, what I got here is a minute amount of black matter we harvested a while back in one of our missions. Valden’s string theory on temporal travel states that a minute fragment of a black matter string could be used when properly attuned to open a stable temporal portal to anywhere in time. But no ones been able to find an empty enough area of space to run the simulations and scans until we got out this far. You see the more subspace variances there are on or near a string fragment the more unstable it becomes especially when attuned with black matter..” He said.

“Very well, replied Frogue. Since I am the Chief Science Officer I want to be involved. How can I help?”

Then looking over to the NE Ensign he said, “You are dismissed Ensign.” With that the Ensign left and Frogue stayed to help with the experiment.
