As Mailena poked her head into the classroom she could see the Romulan Fleet Captain in the office of the teacher, her 8 year old daughter Tel’eck was next to her head bowed and covered in a viscous liquid of some kind which also was partly over the teacher. Over in another corner by the student lab setup smoke still wisped in spots from some kind of small scale explosion. The Captain did not look happy and was through the sound proof class clearly giving her daughter a stern vocal reprimanding over something.

Mailena’s eyes went wide and she backed out opting to wait for the captain it was the last letter she needed to deliver before she went off duty she could wait

NE Mailena

Mailena waited almost 20 long minutes, during which she got some odd looks by other NE’s passing by. Eventually the door opened and Drudoc came out, her daughter trailing just behind with her head bowed, still covered in a vicious goo in spots. Turning the Romulan captain almost missed the NE and ran into her but her quick reflexes stopped her at the last moment. “..Ah, Ensign. My apologies my mind was elsewhere..” She said.

“Its ok Captain I have been waiting for you actually I have a Video letter for you that came in the last burst It was not marked urgent or anything so I decided not to uhhh Interrupt” she said giving a small sideways glance at Tel’eck she handed the PaDD with the video message on it to The Captain in the message origin portion of the inital info about the letter it showed CO USS Memorial

Drudoc took the PADD and looked over the header, a brief smile came to her eyes and she then nodded to NE Mailena. “..Thank you ensign, have a good rest of your day.” Turning to Tel’eck her look turned more parental again. “..Come along Tel’eck your punishment can begin by hand scrubbing your clothes clean and dry..” She said heading down the hall to the nearby turbolift.

When Played the video would show an Andorian woman in her early 30s with snow-white Shoulder length punk style haircut clearly fake green cybernetic eyes and a kind smile she seemed to be sitting in an office on a starship of some kind the moment she came on screen she started speaking

“How’s it going Captain Andone

The first mission for the Memorial under my command was…Interesting, we got called to a distress call by the Mythology Class USS Titan we found her completely destroyed while investigating we came across a planetoid that can phase in and out of subspace along with their ships which we had a bit of fight with we disabled a number of them salvaged what we could from the titan found three crew one turned out to be mentally unstable and attacked Jade and the away team while on one of the enemy ships trying to get some info from their computers still, we got what we could and got out of there the survivors are being looked after the one is heading for a Penal colony…Though he also had the Gall to make accusations of and I quote ‘Conduct unbecoming an officer’ can you believe it, Myself Jade and our Chief Medical officer though his charges against us were dropped due to the severity of his own crimes.

Still, Things are settling down fine Lilith and Jade are the only two children aboard still we are doing our best for them and things are going as smoothly as possible The Memorial is being repaired we took minor damage from that last mission and after also gaining more crew members we are looking forward to our next mission I hear you and the Ark Angel are deep in the Beta Quadrant had to send this through Starfleet command to get it to you…Well, either way, I am unsure of who your current XO and Chief Engineer are but If they are not up to snuff Don’t think I won’t Fly the Memorial out there and Bust those two into shape for you!” she said with a laugh it was then that another Andorian appeared in the picture it was Lilith the little girl had her hair grown out halfway down her back “HI TEL’ECK I MISS YOU!” the little girl shouted Tralla smiled and hugged her daughter “I think Myself Jade Mia and BJ all miss you and the Ark Angel as well” Tralla added with a smile

Well, I just wanted to shoot you a letter and let you know that we are still plugging along and that we miss you…” she said “We will let you get back to it See you all next time your back at 243! Captain Zoarhi Signing off!

and with that, the Message ended it seemed Tralla was just thinking about her friend and She happened to have Lilith there to say Hi to Tel’eck as well
