The children soon returned, handing their choice of PADD to the Captain. Drudoc looked it over then smiled. “..Well Ensign it would seem the children found your creativity of attire and lessons on your race enlightening. They have chosen you for the winner this time. Though it was a close choice by a matter of two votes. Regardless you win the first slice of the baked chocolate pie the children had helped the head chef make!” She said as the children again returned with a big slice of said pie.

”..How’s it taste miss Ranlei!?” One asked excitedly.

Ranlei was surprised, and very emotional. She collected a 2nd fork and offered it to the CE. “I am honored.” She said and made a bit of a production out of tasting the pie at the same as her Caitan boss. “The best chocolate pie I have ever had” she announced, to the eager kids. She made sure to eat all of it. And look like she enjoyed it. She had mostly human tastes in food but some she just couldn’t appreciate, Chocolate was one of them . It didn’t taste bad it just didn’t taste like anything to her.

Cheers went up by the children at Ranlei’s honor to them and sharing with the chief engineer. “..Here here for miss Ranlei!!” They echoed much to the accompanied smile of their nearby Romulan Captain. The party soon calmed and went back to their own mindings, the children soon brought over to the one tree stand to open presents from among the crew as many children were apt to do.
