Scans by the tricorder showed Drudoc was in overall excellent health. Despite being a Fleet Captain now she obviously kept in a regular work out routine to her day to day life as a ship’s captain and single mother. She was though due for her iso-protein injection to counter her younger life exposure to radiation from an errant replicator on Romulus growing up which weakened her body to digest food properly and staunch blood flow if wounded. As was in her record she needed this every other day or when wounded which she was regularly keeping up on.

Sitting there while the scan happened Drudoc replied to Trax’s question. “..I was actually about to ask you the same thing Lieutenant. I got the security report prior to our last mission about the recording device found in your quarters. Such an invasion of your privacy can not be welcomed.” She stated.

“Yes, sir! I am more than certain that it was my mother that had it sent to me to keep me off balance and frightened. It did just what she wanted it to do but I am learning to refocus my thoughts better to avoid trying not to cause a disturbance on the ship.” Trax said softly to her. “But I believe this is just the beginning sir! And I know this won’t be over by a long shot. And this might cause issues with other betazoids aboard besides the ambassador and his aide I already know where they stand but the other odd betazoids aboard might try and take me back for the ransom or to get in major favor with great houses especially the lower houses. This could start a first-ever civil war over something totally, in my opinion, is trivial.” Trax said with concern in his voice but he tried to keep calm. “Your scans are excellent captain… you are due for the shot other than that you are a picture of mental and physical health.” Trax said with a polite smile to her. As Trax signed off on the Physical and Wellness exam. “We can talk more in my office if you have the time.”

”..I doubt the other Betazoids on the ship would take you hostage, first off such wouldn’t get far given our distance from Federation space and Betazed. Secondly even if one did security would be on them quite quick over the matter, not to mention such an event would cause undue friction within the Federation and the ship. Even with your mother’s influence I doubt the local government of Betazed would be able to pull off a kidnapping, nor would be acceptable. First off they would be kidnapping a Starfleet officer, which would impose countless sanctions upon their imports and exports which they couldn’t afford. Secondly, what she wishes to do to you is arguably a form of slavery and infringement on your personal rights as a sentient being under the articles of the Federation. In short your Mother has no legal ground to stand on and any actions she would take would be illegal and able to be countered which would only ruin her and her standing on Betazed.” Drudoc said coming into the office and sitting down.
