It was 0900 hours one one of the slow days after the holiday party in 17/18 Forward when in sickbay 2 Ensign Corvax would get a visit while on duty from one of the 6th grade teachers, a Ms Stonenson. She had several small burns on her right arm and a gooey like substance also up the right. She also had a bit of a limp to her step as she came in. “..I hate to be a nuisance but would someone mind taking a look at these chemical burns?” She asked.

Nurse Larry turned from his work and helped the woman over to a biobed, calling for Corvax. “..Sir? You got a patient needing care on biobed 3!” He said.

Dominic heard his name” Thank you! I’ll get taken care of!” He said as he walked over to Stoneson “don’t worry ma’am your not a nuisance to me it’s keeping me busy. Now if you would be so kind as to explain how this happened?. ” Dominic asked as he gathered what he needed to treat the burns and such.

Huffing a bit of frustration and brushing a lock of her hair out of her face, “..One of my students thought she knew more then she actually did, mixing several chemical agents together in what was supposed to be a harmless ‘goo creation’ experiment for fun. Well in thankfully I got an isolation field up before the worse of the chemical goop flew around. But some got on me.” She explained.

Scans showed simple level 1 burns nothing some basic medicine and cream and a dermal regeneration couldnt fix.

After Dominic listened and ran the scans” well be happy the burns are only a first-degree burn they could have been way worse ma’am. Some basic medication some cream along with some dermal regeneration treatments should fix it right up.” Said Dominic as he grabbed the supplies and started to tend to the burns “I also noticed you have a limp in your leg. Was that from the goo accident as well?” He questioned politely.

”..Oh no, just an old war wound of sorts. Back a few years when I was teaching on an outpost, we got attacked by some Orion pirates, the shot I took to the leg never healed right and its too late now to fix it. Nothing to worry yourself over Ensign..” She said politely.

Dominic nodded feeling a bit bad about her leg “maybe one day ill find a way to fix it.” He said to her as he tended to the burns. “I am sorry that you had to get hurt. No one should suffer like that....ever. But that’s my opinion of course. I am glad however that you didn’t get any further damage from that or from this chemical burn you have going on.” Dominic said genuinely towards the teacher being honest with everything he said.
