It was one day later, and the Ark Angel was currently cruising along at a leisurely warp 2 towards another unexplored system deep in the Beta Quadrant to survey after the events of the previous day. Everyone who had been on the ship for some time had an air of excitement about them and eagerness. Finally this air broke when a ship wide announcement came from the Captain =/\= Attention all hands, starting at 0900 hours tomorrow and lasting through the day and evening till 2000 hours there will be a ship wide party. As is our usual tradition awards for the past mission and service will be recognized as will promotions be given. The theme for this part is to celebrate your race and/or cultures sense of holiday spirit around this time of the year. While not required or mandatory to display such if you are not comfortable, those that do will be expected to give a brief overview of the race or cultures holiday to the children of the ship in attendance. From there the children will vote on who was the most well represented of their holiday spirit and most well educated to them. The winner will receive a prize from the children then. Food and drinks will be provided in 17/18 Forward and will be where the party and judging will be held. Any comments, questions or concerns, should be directed to myself. ==1 Day Later! - 0900 Hours=

Sure enough the following day, now two since the events on the Lawgiver planet had passed the ship was abuzz by many among the crew with a variety of holiday spirit garbs and traditions being readied. 17/18 Forward had been decorated in a variety of rotating ways aided by some NE engineers who were using a group of portable holo-emitters to every half-hour rotate the celebration shown among different races. The food and drink tables were already abuzz with different fares freshly prepared by the ship’s cooking staff.

As 0900 hours ticked over the celebratory party began in full swing for those off duty currently filling in. The current food and drink offerings were mostly a breakfast-brunch affair given the current hour.
