Muting the call then on their end, Drudoc turned to Miz’uki, “..Lieutenant, I want a way to punch through that interference 10 minutes ago, even if it means endangering the sanctity of the ruin site as an archeological dig of priceless worth with weapons fire..” She stated though again conveyed a need to avoid doing that if it could be done.

Lucana the leader of their Gurdian guests spoke up, “..Captain! I understand the need to protect your crew but....” She began but one of the men named T’Bak interrupted her

”..Lucana you know as well as we do that Starfleet Captain’s are well known for putting the lives of their crew’s safety first. If there is some danger below we must respect their efforts to keep each other safe. We are guests here after all.” he said

Which then for the first time the third member of the Gurdian group spoke, “..There is also the well established legacy of Federation Engineer’s being miracle workers are they not?” he said his half-asked question posed in Miz’uki’s direction.

Drudoc spoke again, “..Rest assured Lucana I will do my utmost to protect these ruins, but not at the cost of endangering my crew. I trust my chief engineer will find a solution post haste that will satisfy both our needs and desires..” She stated.

It was at that point that Miz’uki who normally looked up to the Starfleet Legend Montgomery Scott began cursing his name along with all the other legendary Starfleet engineers who had basically created this legend of Starfleet engineers who could as fix any problem “Aye captain I’m on it” she said moving to her Engineering console to begin working on the problem she started by looking at detailed scans of the interference to try and find a weakness as well as noting every bit of information about it Such as modulation frequency and so on she kept her most desperate immediate idea off to the side for the moment which was to create some kind of EMP to short out all electronics on the planet though this would be a last resort measure, of course, she also had a crazy over the top idea of creating a mini remote-controlled drone that would basically be a mobile set of Transporter Enhancers however she needed to focus and gather the info she needed before she could settle on one plan or another

OOC Not sure Why nobody thought about presenting an idea from one of the station on the main viewer before It would seem to me it would be a more comfortable way of presenting ideas :P

OOC: You could also use the one or two small holo projectors for just that purpose to left and right of the main view screen! (Sorta like what we see with those holo ball things in JJ 2009 with Nero, either way works!

She looked over the scan data, and was not seeing anything. Suddenly something from what they had just recovered, clicked in her mind. She went back and looked over the notes, and saw that Shanok had used Impulse reactors to boost the effect of the interference! She had a crazy Idea pop into her head, quickly running a simple simulation on her console quickly confirmed her idea. “Captain, I have a Crazy Idea, one that can of course be scaled back to something that is well Less crazy, but uses the same principal if necessary.” she started, explaining as the Caitian brought up her plan on the main viewer. “Now the safer version is, sending the runabouts into the atmosphere, to begin beaming people up then beaming them to the Ark Angel as a relay point.” Miz’uki Purred, but then a look of worry crossed her feline muzzle as she started explaining her crazier version. “It will take quite a bit of time, and seeing how our people are down there with a potential mass murder, I would understand if you wanted to beam them all up in one go. Sooooo, If we divert all the power we can to reinforce our structural integrity field, and our inertial dampeners. We can take the Ark Angel herself into the atmosphere, and beam everyone up using all the transporter rooms we have aboard.” Miz’uki finished simply, not sure if the Captain was even going to like either of the ideas.

Drudoc observed the plan of the young chief engineer. But felt in her bones time was of the essence, not one to rush things normally she also knew you just had to make a choice and act when the chips came down, sometimes with quite painful physical or mental results. Recent memories a year ago of her thought dead husband Bradley Mitchell returned to her, only to be so quickly snatched away this time, for good by events in the destroyed Romulus system flashed through her mind but she pushed it down. “..Reinforce the SIF and inertial dampeners as far as you can push them we’re going to take the ship down. It would take too long to prep a group of runabouts with the current emergency building.” She said.

As if to drive this home NE Gilligan spoke from the tactical station behind the CO and just in front of the chief engineer. “..Ma’am! Detecting weapons fire aimed at the away team, probable energy reading is a 23rd century Type-2 phaser..” He said.

NE Mullens at science then spoke up. “..I’m also detecting an increase in geothermal activity and isolated spikes of energy consistent with four 23rd century fusion reactors now. They might be on a standby build up for an explosion, such would level the ruins and valley and with the interference yet I still cant get a lock on the away teams..” She said.

”..Noted Ensigns.” Turning back to Miz’uki. “..You got one minute to get the reinforcement ready.” She said turning back to the nervous junior NLt at helm at the port side of the bridge she said. “..NLieutenant Valen, take us down.” Opening a ship wide comm call she said. =/\= Attention all hands all civilian and non-essential personnel have one minute to report to shelter stations. All hands have one minute to secure your stations and brace for a controlled atmospheric entry. Andone out. =/\= She said.
