Stepping up to the ancient computer box Trainor found the device had a gaping hole and from scans signs of dried blood in the smashed screen so it was useless unless he decided to try something more exotic....

Trainor wasn’t too familiar with this tech, but he knew data could still be pulled from a wrecked computer. A quick glance around and the Lieutenant Commander was unable to locate the console, or system unit, which led him to believe it was inside the screen. “I doubt Shanok will need this in one piece…” Tenzing said aloud as he pried the screen apart at the seems. With any luck the blast would have missed the hard drive, but if it was fried then all hope would be lost.

Reaching into the smashed screen and pulling out the glass was an easy affair, and quickly inside he would find the remains of the computer’s motherboard and hard drive and cpu. The motherboard and cpu were loss causes but the hard drive though splattered with what seemed aged blood did seem intact!

“Actually, I think I have that covered Lieutenant.” Trainor said as he held up the computer’s hard drive. “I wonder what we’ll find on here.” Tenzing added as he handed it over to the junior Lieutenant.

When Phillips took the hard drive, he found it solidly intact, it wouldnt take much effort to probably rig a connection to it for access through their Tricorder and use of their engineering kit on hand.

“Jones, are you still around?” The OPS Chief called out, having lost sight of the Klingon Security Officer.

Who else could build such vast structures to stand the test of time even after such a horrid fall from grace..” Shanok said coming in through the entryway. It seems he had not yet heard the comm call of the COS.

Seeing the three officers take more defensive stances and draw weapons Shanok raised a single Vulcan eyebrow. “..It seems your Lieutenant Starr suspects danger is afoot here. Have you found something to warrant such caution? And have you found anything related to the Lawgiver?” He inquired, the last bit with a clear slip up hint of emotional excitement in his voice before it returned to normal as he looked to where Trainor and Phillips were with the Hard Drive.
