Shore was never a fan of counseling in general, he felt exposed, did he have anything to hide?

Walking to the office he was met by 2 people sobbing leaving the area”Great” he thought to himself “Let’s hope this is over quick…”.

Shore took a seat outside in the waiting room after checking in, joining others who seemed to be just as nervous as him.

A slightly harried looking woman made her way over Shore as he got settled. “I’m Commander Nunn, the head of the counseling department,” she introduced herself, holding out her hand to Shore. “Please come with me.” She was mostly able to keep her attention on the young ensign, although she clearly gave the sobbing people a side-eye as she led him toward her office. They weren’t active patients of hers and she had some serious follow up questions for whomever in the department they were currently seeing.
