Trax had some time to kill so he decided to visit the new counselor to reintroduce himself to her since he was rather pushed out at the official invite in the transporter room earlier on in the week. And gives him extra time for the updated eval to be done. As he left his office and left Damien in charge of the office while he was away on the errand. “Damien your in charge till I return.” Trax said kindly and quickly as he left sickbay without hearing the acknowledgment. He knew all would be fine in his care and if needed Nurse Hulahan would give the office any help he needed in his absence.

As the doors closed on sickbay he followed the corridor to the psychological wing of medical to visit the new counselor. As he tapped the door chime as he closed on her door as he waited for a response.

“Enter!” came a slightly irritated voice from within the office as the door slid open to emphasize the point. On first glance, the source of the voice was nowhere to be seen. The office was in disarray; two plush, overstuffed, midnight blue chairs took up quite a bit of the entrance space. One of the chairs had a matching midnight blue bean bag precariously thrown across the seat. Along another wall, a jumble of Starfleet issue furniture stood and that was where a brunette head finally popped up. Exhaling audibly and brushing loose pieces of hair off her slightly sweaty forehead, Katie wiggled her way across the desk that she had accidentally trapped herself behind while moving it and then rubbed her hands on the pants leg of her teal trimmed uniform.

“It’s nice to see you again, Lieutenant,” she commented, pleasantness filling her tone now. “I’m sorry for the disarray, I’m still getting organized.” Her rueful grin accompanied her hand as she extended it outward to shake his in greeting.

“Thank you, counselor, Should I come back at a different time? Maybe after you are more settled in??” As he shook her hand kindly. As he gave a small fading smile. “Or could you use a hand?” he offered after finishing the handshake As he stood there calmly a moment before speaking again. “I wanted to reintroduce myself due to I felt that we were rushed the first time in the transporter room and I felt pushed out by the others that were welcoming you?” Trax said with a straight face.
