Lt.(j.g.) Frogue had been assigned to look for samples…water, plants, and the like. As he scanned the area he came upon a new body of water that was not on his map.

Samples from the scans of the body of water he found were a fair bit outside the camp ruins, it probably would not be smart to venture so far alone given the still fairly wild nature of the planet he was on. Perhaps at the least grabbing one of the NE security guards would be wise. Or at least informing the others where he was going.
