”..Outside my personal tent would suffice I suppose..” Shanok replied.

“Let me know when you’re ready and you can show me the way,” Katie responded softly.

”..It would seem your teams are off to perform their assigned tasks, come to my tent then..” he said moving a few yards away to the large personal tent in the dig site and took a seat by a table with some Vulcan style tea on it. “..How would you like to begin?” he asked pouring himself a cup but not yet offering one for Katie.

Katie watched as the various crew members of the Ark Angel flitted off to accomplish the tasks assigned to them. She returned her attention to the Vulcan as they quickly became the only ones remaining. She followed him to his personal tent, taking a few minutes to glance around it before settling herself at the table as well. She didn’t reach for a tea cup herself, but watched as he poured himself one.

“What has been the most challenging aspect of being here for so long?” she asked after a moment.
