Trax finished off the final reports for the day and filed them before leaving for the evening. As he left Nurse Calhoon In charge. As he left for his cabin to clean up and put on a more relaxed off duty outfit as he showered and shaved and got ready for his dinner in the deck 17/18 lounge as he finished dressing as he moved towards the main living space of his cabin to check for messages before he left to eat. Luckily he had none and Ambassador Roni and Raxx were tied up in other diplomatic functions and could not be disturbed but he could not disturb them or bother them during there meetings. as he tapped a few keys on the computer then he walked to the door as it opened and he left and the door locked behind him for the time being as he left down the corridor calmly as he headed to the lift as he tapped the call button.

As he waited for the lift to arrive he casually took a look around the corridor as a security precaution as the door opened and a few officers exited the lift as he waited for them to pass as they greeted him before they went on. He returned the greetings and he stepped into the lift and turned around as he spoke to the computer. “Deck 17/18 lounge please.” Trax commented politely to the computer as the doors closed and the lift took off towards the new destination.

He listened as the lift went along there was nothing odd about the lift but it felt cozy for some strange reason as he sighed softly as the lift came to a stop and the doors opened as others came on the lift and their destination was the same as his as he greeted them and the returned the greeting as the lift closed the doors as it continued on to deck 17. Trax talked a bit of small talk with the others in the lift nothing important mostly compliments on his attire and he looked amazing tonight. He thanked them all as the lift stopped again as it arrived on deck 17 as the others started to exit as he followed behind them as he exited the lift too.

As he watched the others as they entered the deck 17/18 lounge he straightened his outfit as the door closed briefly as he sighed again as a moment later he moved to the door as they opened for him as he entered to a medium crowd that were in the lounge. As Trax moved to the usual corner booth in the corner as he got there he took a seat and relaxed as he looked out at the stars in space nearby.

Dominic had sighed in relief he was finally able to go eat his stomach had been going crazy for awhile, Dominic had left going to his quarters changing into something a bit more casual and comfortable but also looked formal in the process, Dominic took a moment to sit down and collect his thoughts as he finished getting ready. Once he felt ready he decided to head to the 17/18 lounge to relax and get some food, of course he have something light eat.

As Dominic walked the halls he got onto a nearby lift he took a calming breathe “deck 17/18 lounge” he said and waited until he arrived. When the lift stopped at his spot he got off and walked to the lounge once he entered he saw quite a few people and started to decide on where he wanted to sit he wanted to sit in a not so crowded spot. So he took a moment to look around, he had seen trax but thought he didn’t need to bother him. But of course that was how Dominic felt about talking to anyone

Trax stopped looking out the window as he felt like he was being watched again as he turned toward the feeling he noticed it was Ensign Corvax. The doctor waved the man over to him if he decided to come over was up to him. As he stopped a waiter. “Excuse me please bring me some ice water.” Trax asked the waiter as he left to fill the order for now maybe by the time the waiter returns he hoped he had a clue what he wished to eat. As he starting looking out the windows again but not as intent on them so if the waiter or someone comes by he would not be lost in thought.

Dominic had seen trax wave him over, so of course he shyly went over “B-Bonjour sir” he said softly and shyly to him biting his lip”I hope I didn’t disturb you sir......” He said looking around the room and out the windows quietly.

“Not at all ensign. your part of the future team in medical and this way I can get to know you better. And please call me Trax were off duty after all and are going to be friends or at least I hope so?” Trax said kindly to the officer noticing that he was nervous and noting the minor blushing on the man’s face. “Please!” he motioned for the man to take a seat.

Dominic took the offered seat,and smiled a bit “I would like to become friends for sure. ” he said relaxing some but his face still had the pinkish tinge as he smiled sitting back looking out the window. “I will admit I do enjoy working with you Trax, being here is so much more then I expected it to be I am actually glad to be here.” He said with a bigger smile appearing on his face.

The waiter came back and brought Trax some iced water. “Care for anything?” Trax asked the man before he placed his order. “I would like a chef salad. and iced sweet tea!” Trax ordered for himself. As he smiled and looked toward Dominic for an answer and the waiter waited for the order.

The waiter left to fill the last parts of the doctor’s orders. “Well now that the food is ordered. I have a question of a personal nature I noticed you looking at certain people on the ship.” The doctor did not go into details just then but he did speak again finally. “I am different than most here on the ship too.” As his voice got softer so that he and corvax could here. He knew some of the crew knew but was not sure of the rest. “I am gay Ensign” He was hoping that this unvailing would bring him the courage to talk to him and not feel apprehensive that he could be open and safe in front of him. ” i noticed thing the last few days and I want you to know you don’t have to worry or hide there is plenty of diversity and understanding crew here on Ark Angel.” Trax said with a normal tone to his voice but still being kind and sincere. As he took a good drink of his water as he drank half of his glass of iced water. As he waited for the better beverage to arrive from the waiter.

Dominic had looked at him wide eyed as slight panic started setting in,”i.....I always thought I was alone....i didn’t know that were others.....” when Dominic realized he wasn’t alone he had started to calm back down, realizing he didn’t have to hide anymore “do others know you are too…?” He said referring to what trax had said.

“I believe so.” trax commented calmly. As he finished off the iced water he had. “You don have to hide. myself I just don’t flaunt it in front of them I am calm and easily laid back.” Trax commented calmly to Dominic. “My race is more open in the matters of love.” He said with a kind smile.

Dominic smiled “thanks, for helping me see I’m not alone. I’ll admit I have eyed some of men on board, including lieutenant Starr when I do see him” he said with a cheeky grin and light red blush across his cheeks.

“your welcome Dominic.” Trax said kindly to him. “I am glad your feeling better.” Trax said quickly as the waiter arrived with there light meals. As the waiter placed the food in front of them both. “Thank you Max I appreciate you remembering my favorite dressing. I believe you got me all covered. ” He smiled as the waiter looked towards Dominic. “Is there anything else?” the waiter asked.

“Parents knew from an early age but did not start manifesting till 10 or so. I believe I was around 16! But Betazoids are more accepting of love in all forms them some humanoids.” Trax said with a kind smile in return.
