Ranlei had not been a upstanding member of society her entire life and had developed some skills that were not strickly within regulations. People expectations of her mean that colorful people found a way to approach her and involve her in shady dealings. She had developed a talent for coming out clean while catering to the baser needs of society. So it was that she had spent time developing a rather intensive holosimulation of a 1930’s Los Vegas Casino. She called the Casino the Lady luck and while it often streached regulation it was completely legit. Everyone entering was gifted 10‘000 Casino credirs. As what is the point of a gambling joint if nuobody could gamble. The gambling made no real profit of course as real gambling would be ilicit. Blackjack, Poker, Baccarat, Dominos. Slot machines and some Alien games like Dabo. She had horse racing using a mechanical track. To keep it all running it had a professional staff. Like a strip casino there was live entertainment lounges as well. Ranlei smiled at her creation as she added a few minor details. She had of course mentioned she would be running the program to her circle of admirers. Word of it had as expected made it’s way to the entire crew. So all that was left was waiting to see if anyone showed up. Ranlei did as she liked in the casino sometimes as a Dabo girl. Sometimes as a lounge singer. Tonight she wa2s dolled up as a lounge singer. Even if nobody real showed up the small lounge would be packed.

Dominic had heard about a program he felt up to checking it out to see if it was any good. Dominic being the oddball had entered the program dressed casually in just a normal light blue button-down shirt and black dress pants. When he entered he looked around to get a feel for everything like the surroundings

Simon heard about some possible legit gambling, and he was curious as to what made it legit, so made his way to the holodeck when the word “Casino” was mentioned. “Computer, who is running the programme currently running in Holodeck one?” he asked. The female monotone voice that the LCARS system came with replied “Ensign Ranlei of Engineering is currently running the programme in Holodeck one.”

Simon thought he’d check this one out himself as he had some spare time on his hands, and it was an officer he had met as soon as she boarded. A few minutes after the request, the holodeck doors opened and Simon came in full security uniform. “Welcome to the Lady Luck, here are ten thousand complementary credits for your enjoyment,” a hostess by the entrance said. “So that’s what it meant by ‘legit’. No actual gambling just simulated,” Simon said to himself. He then took a look around at the various machines, tables, and dabo tables. Walking up to the stage, Simon looked around for Ensign Ranlei, seeing her in the dress, it looked like she was planning on performing “Well Ensign, didn’t mean to disturbt you, but while I’m here, I think I should just go ahead and have some down time, plus I wouldn’t want to miss your performance,” Simon told Ranlei in his southern British farmer like accent. Taking his credits, he took a seat down at one of the Dabo tables.
