Domingo was stunned speechless and not sure where to keep his eyes. He settled on looking into Katie’s eyes as he moved forward and wrapped her in a warm embrace. He softly said “Hi” into her neck in reply before taking a step back, taking her by the hand, and leading the way into his quarters.
Upon entering it can be seen that any sort of decor came standard with the arrangement, there were no paintings, pictures, or weird geometrically shaped sculptures. With the sole exception of a photo by the front door of an older Hispanic woman. Everything else came already furnished.
After leading Katie to the table, set simply with a couple candles, Domingo disengaged his hand from hers before pulling back a chair to help her sit.

Katie giggled softly at the feeling of Chavez’s warm breath on her neck as he murmured into it during their embrace. Her body melded to his briefly as she wrapped her arms around him and tightly squeezed him to her, but she obediently let go as he released her and allowed herself to be led into his quarters. She glanced around the living space briefly as he lead her to the table, but she didn’t observe anything too interesting to note. Sinking down in the offered chair, she smiled gratefully at her gentlemanly companion and then turned her attention to the table, enjoying the flickering of the candles in front of her as she observed, “well, you went all out.”

Domingo smiled back before lightly lifting Katie’s glass and half-filling it from the bottle on the table. The wine was a vivid and vivacious red. He held out the glass to her to take before scooping up his own and likewise half-filling it.
Having set the bottle down, Domingo then held his glass out to clink with Katie’s. “A toast to fortuitous encounters born from rejoining Starfleet and be graced with the opportunity to meet you.”
He took a moderate sip of the wine and found himself watching Katie intently before his reverie was broken by the dinner alarm. Scooping up both plates while somehow simultaneously making a ‘stay seated’ gesture, Domingo moved back into the kitchen to pull the main course out of the oven. He then swiftly plated the food onto the plates before he then carried them over with hot plate holders. Setting the plates down, one in front of Katie and one at his one spot, he tossed the holders back into the kitchen before taking his seat.
On both plates were a smattering of red, white, green and orange colors. More specifically there were two enchiladas, a taco, some Mexican rice, as well as sour cream, salsa and guacamole on the side.
