Reading through a PADD, John was talking to himself quietly as he familiarized himself with the ship. He needed to go to Sickbay for his boarding physical which was somewhat ironic since he was a Medical Officer himself, his health was fine for the most part. His life had been filled with medical intervention before, despite the appearance now as a child he was very ill a lot of the time, his immune system didn’t function until he was 12 when his condition was cured. He now fought tooth and nail to keep himself in his present condition, using his intense exercise regime to try and distract himsef from the lonliness. He was ambitious and unfortunately his ambition had squashed a few toes on his rise to try and be the best possible.

Tugging on the teal uniform, trying to straighten it out like his… No, couldn’t think about that. Entering the steel, glass and lifeless sickbay, he saw that his medical team was already hard at work. Going over to a nearby wall, he was content to blend in and observe. He was in no rush for his past to be dragged up, cross-examined beore hastily being drowned back down into the slurry pit where it belonged.

“Hello there Ensign! Welcome to sickbay what can we do for you?” Trax said calmly to the newly arrived officer.

“I’m here for my boarding physical, I’ll also be a part of sickbay as a doctor.” John explained to Trax, going over to the biobed quickly and sitting down.
