Standing outside the security office, Domingo tugs his uniform tunic straight before reaching forward and hitting the chime button.

Simon had a PaDD in one hand and a coffee in the other. Taking a sip, he finished reading the latest transfers, including that of one of his own department, and placed it down on the desk in front of him. It had been a while since the new crew transfers coming in were of his department, but he still got to see each and every one. It was his job to know who was meant to be on the ship and who wasn’t after all.

Hearing the chime, a voice called out to outside, a strong southern British accent came from the room. “Come in,” the voice said.

OOC: Welcome aboard, just a note - we typically write our posts in third person past tense. Third person is there, but your post was in present tense - just something to bear in mind :)

Domingo stepped gingerly through the door way and came to attention before the security chief’s desk.

“Ensign Chavez, reporting in sir.” He called out while keeping his eyes straight forward.

Ensign Chavez, Sec

Simon looked over the Ensign and noted the smaller stature of the man. “Ahh, yes. The one that was sent back to Earth. Welcom aboard. At ease, Ensign,” Simon answered in a southern British accent. Standing at just under six foot tall, an athletic build, Simon had tidy brown hair, brushed to the left side. The way he moved and presented himself definitely showed that he had performed manual labour for the younger years of his life.

Walking to the replicator, Simon produced a coffee for himself and then turned to Chavez. “Would you like anything to drink?” he asked.
