The sensor scan turned out to just be a passing asteroid nothing dangerous. Perhaps hailing the surface to talk to their still wasiting vulcan scientist down there would provide them something to do and information to be gained.

Entering the bridge, DeVries’ attention was drawn to Kara and her exchanged with, who she assumed was Shanok. “Lt,” she turned briefly to Starr, “stay with our visitors. Excuse me a moment.” Jasmijn stepped back, pursuing the spot beside Iliana. She didn’t say a word, intending for Kara to finish the conversation she’d begun. She’d ask for the run-down when the time came. In lieu of interrupting her, the Klingon nodded in acknowledgement as if offering support.
