Sensors showed there were no more contacts present. So the crew was free to relax and get repairs underway.

“Sensors and operation systems are under repair. It should take a few hours to complete repairs.”

”..Understood lieutenant, why don’t you take a short break down to 17/18 forward until the XO returns, then return here.” Drudoc suggested.

“Thank you captain. I’ll be in 17/18 forward if you need me.” Philips said as he left the bridge.

After spending a few hours in the 17/18 forward, Philips made his way back to the bridge. He remembered that the captain said to return to the bridge when the XO returns.
Entering the bridge Philips said, “Lt. Philips reporting as ordered, Captain.”

“Repairs are progressing in good time.”

“Repairs should take a few more hours to complete.”

Lt. Philips kept on checking the sensors just to make sure the ship was being repaired to optimal efficiency.

Repair were flowing just fine, shields were almost back to 100% and sensor still showed nothing threatening being detected.

A call then came in from sickbay =^=Commander Trainor to Bridge: Our guests are ready for your arrival, Captain… they’re pretty set on seeing you, and only you.=^= he said

=/\= On my way Commander,=/\= She said then turned to Iliana “..Lieutenant Iliana you got the bridge..” She said rising and leaving without further words.

“Aye sir,” Kara nodded as she rose from her station and approached the command chair, hoping that no one would pick up on her nervousness at taking command for the first time. She tentatively sat down and said a silent prayer that she wouldn’t press the wrong button or blow the ship up.

“Lt Phillips, how long until the shields are back up to 100%?” She asked as she took a quick look at the reports coming in from the department heads.
