“Aye, sir!” Trax commented quickly as he stood to leave. As he gathered the padds and items he had and put them into the smock as he started to move to the exit.

Allison quickly got to her feet as the CO dismissed them, knocking her chair back slightly with a thud. She grimaced, collected her espresso cup to dispose of, and waved at Iliana on her way out of the briefing.

Lieut (j.g.) Devlin, COS

Iliana nodded as she rose to her feet. “Understood sir,” she replied as she took her leave. She picked up her pace and caught up to Allison, tapping her on the shoulder. “It was lovely to meet you Lt,” she said warmly and paused as though she had something on her mind. “Um…I was meaning to ask you something…a favour if you don’t mind?” she asked hopefully. “I mean, I know we’ve only just met but could we go and grab a cup of real coffee perhaps?”

Allison stifled the yawn that almost escaped when she opened her mouth to respond to Kara. Instead, she nodded and then, after a beat, responded, “sure, I’m always up for more caffeine. Lead the way.”

Once everyone was departing Drudoc turned her back on the table and gazed out into the vast darkness of space pondering what might lay ahead.

“Something on your mind, Captain?” Jasmijn inquired, approaching from the side. She had remained in silence majority of the meeting, choosing to listen rather than speak her piece. Albeit uncommon for the Klingon woman, it seemed to work well..this time.

Folding her arms over her chest, she stood slightly behind Drudoc as not to infringe upon her personal space (not that DeVries had any desire to be in such close quarters with anyone, either).
