A sympathetic frown filled her face as she put a hand on his shoulder to stop him as he was about to go past her. “Do you want to talk about it?” she asked, gently.

Simon shrugged “Not really much to say at the moment, I guess,” he replied. “It’s been a while since that happened, and well - that’s gonna be the case until I know what’s happened. However long that takes,” he said, picking the pace back up and catching up. “It’s more the case of not knowing what happened, more than anything else, ya know?” he asked rhetorically.

Even though the question was rhetorical, Allison nodded in agreement. “I understand completely… ambiguity is the worst,” she affirmed. “Do you want to keep running or are you ready to say we’ve earned our next meal and maybe some dessert to go with it?”

Simon nodded, “I can agree with that,” he said as he chuckled slightly. “And I’m starting to feel a little bit hungry, gotta get some nutrition as well,” he replied to the chief’s question. “Your decision in the end, chief - if you think we’ve done enough training today,” he commented.

“Oh, right,” Allison responded, frowning slightly as though she had forgotten her role on the ship. “Well, I think that’s enough for today,” she said with a shrug. “Do you want to grab something to eat now?” she added.
