Iliana made her way to sickbay, a little nervous to start her first shift. She had confidence in her skills but she’d never really spent much time on a starship and she wasn’t really sure what to expect. In truth, it was life on board ship that frightened her more that the medicine did.

As she entered sickbay she instinctively straightened her uniform and made her way to the nearest medical officer. “Excuse me, I’m looking for Lt Suder?” She asked hopefully.

Ensign Kara (Med)

“I am Dr. Suder!” as he turned to face the new arrival to his section. As he placed the tricorder in his blue smock. He gave a polite smile as he was about to ask. “What can I help you with Ensign??” Trax asked calmly to her.

Iliana smiled nervously and stuck her hand out awkwardly. “I’m Kara Iliana sir, I’m here for my boarding physical?” she asked hoping that he knew she was coming. As she got her first look at sickbay she was surprised at how big it was, her last posting had only been a small science vessel and this ship was a lot bigger than she was used to.

“Please relax ensign. I won’t bite.” feeling her nervousness. ” Welcome aboard the Ark Angel. Please take a look around get familiar with everything. If you have any questions I will try and answer them for you.” Trax commented calmly to her. “When was your last medical exam?” The doctor asked her.

OOC: Hi folks, I’m actually switching positions to the CSO spot so I’ve amended this a little above!

IC: Iliana gave him a bit of a forced smiled, she wasn’t really a fan of doctors but she knew this was just part of the job. “My last exam was on my previous ship, maybe 3 months ago?” she offered as she hopped up on a biobed, as she recalled her last trip to sickbay after an unfortunate experiment with inhaling a toxic chemical in the lab. She instinctively rubbed her chest as she remembered how much it had hurt.

“I see we got the current records from your last posting and the brief scans I did all look good. ” Trax said with a small faltering smile. “My apologies I miss read your new job on here. You are cleared to go. Your dismissed.” Trax commented with a bit of embarrisment. As he stood there and took a scann of himself to see if he was alright. He was quiet as he waited for her to decide what she was going to do.

Iliana stood in the middle of sickbay and blinked a few times at what seemed to be the quickest medical exam in history. She briefly opened her mouth to question it but then remembered she loathed medical exams anyway so made a speedy exit before the doctor changed his mind.
