Well, life on a new ship had its priorities and reporting for a boarding physical was one of those. Having been handily cleared by NE Shrinkadoodle for her psychological evaluation, Allison went on to her last stop before she could stop in and report to the CO. As Sickbay’s doors slid open, she strode through and looked around for someone she could snag to complete the slightly tiresome process of ensuring that she was still in good health.

Trax heard the doors open to sickbay. As he stood and straightened his uniform and smock as he came out of the office. “Welcome Lieutenant! What can I do you for you?” Trax said calmly to the incoming officer. As he waited patiently for more answers.

“Hello!” Allison greeted the officer cheerfully, quickly identifying him as the ship’s Chief Medical Officer from her study of the crew roster. “I’ve just arrived on the Ark Angel and I’m in need of my boarding physical before I can officially report for duty.” She smiled in a friendly manner.

“Of course Lieutenant!” Trax said calmly to her. “Please have a seat at the biobed and we will get this done quickly for you” As he started scanning with the medical tricorder. “Are there anything I need to know from the last posting that medical related?” Trax asked her sincerely. As he checked his scans with the main medical computers. “I see you are the new chief of science?” Trax commented kindly. “Nice to meet you and I hope we can be good friends? especially at times, we do work closely at times after all.” as he made small talk as the results came in and waited for her to respond.
