Hill entered into the bridge nodding at the bridge staff as he crossed. He eventually reached the ready room door. The nerves from his meeting with the CoS had subsided but meeting the with the captain had brought back some of those nerves. He pressed the bell and waited.

Oscar bent under the door frame and stood at attention. ” Ensign Oscar Hill reporting for duty, sir.” Oscar looked like a human mountain, however his voice did not seem to match his stature. It seems quiet, almost shy.

”..Ah ensign come in can I get you something to drink?” Drudoc asked.

“Pleasure to meet you Captain,” he nodded. ” Just a water will be fine thank you.”

“Thank you for accepting the academy’s request to have me here.” His voice was soft, much softer than his build would suggest.
