After the conference about how to deal with the black serpents Remon headed back towards the Red Matter storage area. Trij,Clarkson and Mira where all sat at various consoles monitoring the current situation both on and off ship.

“Well,” Remon said, ” We still no very little our orders haven’t changed we guard this stuff.” He pointed at the Red Matter in the container. “So keep an eye on the internal scanners and let’s keep an even bigger eye on the corridor leading up to us.”

Remon took up position at the free console to the right of the container and once again went through the battlelogs.

OOC: Just fyi orders HAD come in by comms for security/tactical to prep 10 quantum torpedoes with 10 isogram particles of red matter you guys could start on that if you want to keep things moving!

OOC: It seems like we’ve changed to a devastating payload for these torpedoes lol Last I remember, it was 8 isogram particles with a photon torpedo? Though I have no objections to a quantum torpedo, it would make for some great black hole fireworks!

OOC: You’re right! I had posted the 10 bit from an old notes i mistook for my current :P you can run with either type i’ll retcon the same results either way

Shortly after he finished beaming back aboard the Ark Angel, Chris tapped his comm badge and started heading towards Engineering. He needed to get these torpedoes modified right away.

=^= Lieutenant Emmitt to Ensign Flamurn, just want to give you a heads up, Lieutenant Sadie will most like be heading your way shortly in order to collect a bit of the Red Matter. The Captain has ordered for it to be installed into some torpedoes for use against the Serpents. =^=

The power of that stuff seriously scared him, but with the way it’s been contained and with the modifications he would make to the torpedoes, everything should turn out alright. There was no slacking off on any of the work when it was this important, he’d be triple checking everything.

OOC: Otherwise feel free to continue with loading the payloads! I might suggest taking this to the torpedo maintenance/loading rooms once you get some vials of red matter

Bo-Ro-Mah entered and was pleased to see the team guarding the Red Matter. “Hrrrmph, good work guarding the Red Matter everyone.” He then walked over to some console and started setting them for engineering when they arrived. “We will assist Engineering in creating these torpedoes and then be briefed on how to effectively use them.”

“An interesting struggle we have found ourselves in,” Bo-Ro-Mah muttered to Remon as he assisted with the Red Matter, something on his mind. “Hrrmph, what did you think of the idea of using the Hatcheries as Bait?”
