As they were in mid speech the transporter chief would whisk them away into particles before returning them safely now present within the main meeting lobby of the Sal III colonial administration building. Stepping off the receiving pads, the group would be approached by a pair of women seemingly identical twins in their late 20s. Both wore a simple civilian administration garb of brown and greys, both had deep blue eyes, happy warm welcoming smiles, and had a deep brown locks of hair tied back into a single long pony tail lined with buttons of random colors. The big stand out on both was a pair of small silver medical devices on the left and right side of their heads individually “..Greetings Captain Becket, welcome to Sal III colony. We are Beck-Reba Maloy.” they said in unison. Obviously sensing the coming question they spoke right away, “..Before you ask our joint speech and minds though with separate bodies, is due to a birth defect in our brains, due to this the only way the medical officer at our birth could do was use cortical nodes to link our minds together, think of us as Siamese twins but with two bodies. If you will follow us the governor is waiting for you in his office down the hall..” they said.

Even though Soral was a diplomatic, he knew it was best that the Captain took the lead, he waited for the group to start moving then he would follow on

Cross nodded in greeting to the two young ladies, not speaking as he hadn’t been spoken too. He didn’t mind though as he studied them. He wondered how co-joined their minds were, if they were akin to Siamese twins it would be one mind in two bodies. That must have taken getting used to mechanical wise , in learning to walk, talk. Though perhaps not, he mused as he watched to see if they moved in unison as well. But for the brains to process the sight stimulus from two sets of eyes must have taken some time. They reminded him of Bynars.
