OOC: This thread is for the CO and optionally one or two or so others, either as player characters or NE’s they play. Mostly to meet the colony staff/governor before then you all can be freed for R&R till the BBQ later, again its 1000 hours or so local time BBQ aint till 1800 hours.

Meanwhile in transporter room 1, NE Bobble, younger brother to NE Bibbles in transporter room 2, quite hummed at the control console in the room. He got informed the CO and maybe some others were about to beam down to the colonial administration offices. Personally he thought it was a waste of time, ”..Haven’t we already chatted them up on the bridge already?” he thought. “..Ah whatever..” he muttered, waiting for the captain and anyone else to come in for beam down.

Captain Becket walked in smiling and heard NE Bibbles. “Mr. Bibbles, I understand your frustration about this. But he wants to speak to me about other matters. Besides, a little talking would be nice.” He would smile as he was saying that to NE Bibbles.

The transporter room door opened and Counselor Cross entered. Dressed in a freshly laundered uniform. He spotted the Captain speaking with the transport officer. “Captain,” he said in greeting as he walked over. He also gave a nod to Bibbles. Here was a young Ensign he’d not had the pleasure of meeting yet.

Captain Becket had noticed his counselor. “Counselor. Welcome to the team.” He said with a smile as he would stand there nodding.

“Captain.” The Counselor nodded in greeting. “Will others be joining us, sir?”

He would stand there and smile. “They will once after the meeting of the governor.” He nodded back.

Soral had recently promoted to full Lieutenant and was now the Chief Diplomatic Officer, with that position he thought being with the captain when he met the governor was the best place for him at this time, he entered the transporter room

“Captain, Counselor”

He said in greeting then took his place on the transporter

“Ah, I am ready then, sir.” Cross said waiting for the Captain before climbing up on the transporter padd himself.

“Very well.” Becket would nod and offer a spot on the transporter pad to the counselor. “This will be a little fun. Wouldn’t you say?” He asked.

“Ah very much. I enjoy meeting new people.” Cross said with a grin as he stepped up to a spot on the transporter pad.

He smiled back. “As do I.” He said to the counselor. “Chief,” he looked back at the Chief. “Energize.” As he stood there smiling and waiting.
