OOC: This thread is for anyone doing R&R pre-BBQ time point, atm its roughly 1000 or so hours in the morning local time, BBQ is at 1800 so plenty of time to see the local sites, meet colonists, etc etc fyi there will be little to nothing for me to add with anyone choosing to remain on the ship, this little jaunt is so i can get a feel for the ship’s posting pace and style for later in the sim and futureNE Billis was at the transporter 2 room controls, it seems from what scuttle butt had said most of the NE staff were to be remaining ship side, he was fine with that though, such was the life of the faceless NEs. To whomever came into the transporter room next for beam down he would comment, “..He sir? If you get a chance can you nab some doggie bags of that BBQ I heard about for later?” he asked hopefully

OOC: Most appreciated Rob. Thank you.
IC: Becket would smile at NE Billis. “Of course. That is if they have any. But if they do. I’ll make sure to grab some and bring some food up as well. How does that sound Mr. Billis?” He would ask NE Billis.

U.S.S. Ark AngelOllie wandered into the transporter room dressed way down in his yellow board shorts and black tank top. He had some sunglasses perched on the top of his head, his comm badge tucked into a water proof case wrapped around his bicep, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder and a surfboard under the other arm. He had opted for his short board, hoping for the best. Hopefully, the place he had picked out would cooperate with the waves but if not beach lounging would be a good backup option.
Seeing the captain standing there, he gave a friendly nod and then approached NE Billis, handing him a PADD, “Hey there, Ensign. Can you beam me down to these coordinates?”
Then he dragged himself and all his gear up onto the transporter pad and gave a nod, letting Billis know he was ready whenever.
Lieutenant Commander Ezeami - COS
Spenn entered the transport bay wearing a red baseball cap with ‘SISKO’ in gold letters and unamused frown. Before anyone could ask, he explained, “My brother-in-law insisted I wear this once I mentioned that I would be attending a barbie-Q.”

Izak walked into Transporter Room 2, feeling a little uncomfortable in civilian clothes despite the fact that they were… at least ostensibly… more comfortable. He knew it was really just the novelty of not wearing a duty uniform or athletic uniform for what was probably the his first time onboard the Ark Angel.
He was wearing a long sleeved wine-colored henley, khaki hiking pants, a pair of old boots, and a canvas satchel worn cross-body style and hanging around his lower back. Lt J.G. Waryn placed his combadge on his belt to one side. He wanted it available, but also out of the way.
The satchel itself just contained a PADD, and a Tricorder, and a few small articles of clothing. He liked to be overprepared… and the extra space would allow him to carry any souvenirs he found along the way.
He looked around for Ensign Sanks… or rather, Roger. He didn’t know the man well, but he seemed interested in hanging out down on the surface. Izak also hoped Wyatt, Ensign th’Qiaqir, or Ensign Jerkir would join as well. The only good friend he did have onboard, NE Boras, was stuck on duty for the evening.
The fact that I don’t know many of the other Junior Officers tells me I need to get out of Engineering and socialize more. I guess there is no time like the present.
