Shinichi had been mentally making notes of the exchange, working our what shifts can go and which one will stay behind to man the ship. He would assemble a small team of engineers and security to assist with the dispersion of the cargo and have them finish by 1800. From Shinichi remembered of American BBQ from his time at the Academy, he would not recommend Dress Uniforms.

When the Governor signed off, Yoshida went back to his PaDD and began to issue out assignments. Ensigns Sanks and Blackford can work work with some other Security ensigns to backup O’Nell and his engineers. Waryn, who Yoshida noticed cross training with Operations on the bridge, would be good to assign to that, as well as the newer officer, Ensign Jerkir. The rest of the ship can get a jump on their shore leave.
Yoshida punched a few keys on his PaDD and sent our a ship wide transmission, alerting the crew that, unless given other orders, they were all free to take the time they were in orbit of Sal III as they chose, with freedom to go to the surface if they so chose.
Yoshida then sent out a message to Gamma shift, alerting the select few of that shift who would be required to remain on the ship and on duty. Then he messaged the aforementioned Engineers and Security Officers who would be assisting him with the supply dispersion on the surface.

Upon receiving the text notification from the XO, Izak informed the duty operations manager and left the bridge.

Once he was in the turbolift he tapped his combadge. =/\=”Waryn to O’Nell. Chief, it looks like the XO has us overseeing delivery before we can join the festivities. What transporter room to you want us to meet you in?”

OOC: This may be a situation where we jump straight to the party, but I figured I’d roll with the XO’s instructions unless/until that happens.

Shinichi turned to the Captain and said, “I’ll meet you after we have all the cargo properly dispersed. You should feel free to converse with the Governor, Captain. I’ll manage the rest.” He gave a smile and then headed for the turbo lift to meet with the away team. He sent out a message to them all to meet him in Transporter Room 3, planning to coordinate the other ship beam outs through the remaining transporters so that the away team wouldn’t hinder them, and vice versa.

Ollie tapped a few buttons on his console to take a look at some sensor scans of the planet, searching for the perfect place to catch a few waves, ideally before needing to show up for dinner later tonight. Though, if he was honest, he hoped that he would be spending most of his shore leave there. It has been way too long since he felt the sun on his skin and the salt in the air. After a minute he had a couple places picked out and send the coordinates to his quarters for later.

He glanced up at one of the security NEs on the bridge and nodded for them to relieve him at tactical and then nodded to the CO and XO as he was making his way off the bridge.

“Sirs, I’ll catch you both at the BBQ this evening. I found a beach down there that is calling my name.”

Cross quietly rose and nodded to the Captain and XO. “Sirs, I am going to wrap up a few things in my office and be ready for the beam out.” He crossed the bridge and disappeared into the turbo lift.

O’Nell was overseen the final supplies being transported to the colony. He’s checking everything before it was sent out scanning barcodes and double checking what is going out is what is going out. He’s also been removing any binary data left over from the Non Star fleet equipment plugged in to keep certain things going.
