Making his way into Sickbay, Haley took a moment to look around him.
He was no stranger to a medical setting - the Betazoid’s parents had both been emergency care doctors and, as much as he had wanted to rebel, he had ended up following the same path.
“Excuse me,” he says to a passing crewman. “I’m here to report for duty, get my medical and,” he lowered his voice just a little, giving the person a conspiratorial grin. “Get all the gossip before I start.”

Jean smiled warmly. “Well you’re in luck! I’m just going there myself and I’ll be happy to help you get checked in.... as for gossip.... I’m new myself and can’t offer you any. I’m Dr. Jean-François Chéreau. Medical. Pleased to meet you.” I say extending my hand and talking in a thick French accent.

Once inside I point to a bed. “Ore there Please. ” I say abs go get checked in. After sterilization of my hands I get hard up and grab a medical tricorder and go back over to him. “I’m going to scan you now. When was your last physical done Haley?”

I began the scan.
