==Sim Start==

It was just before 0430 hours in the morning with those on night shift into this early morning hours keeping things ticking over until 0500 hours for the shift change over for the day shift crew to come relieve them. The Ark Angel was currently docked in stationary orbit of Starbase 243, awaiting orders for their next mission to come in. Almost to the exact second as 0430 ticked over NE Bill at the rear communications station spoke up to the officer of the shift. “Sir? Commodore Stone is hailing from Starbase 243, seems they got a mission packet to send over with orders and information brief for the senior staff. We’re also informed that our assorted cargo bays, including those for our expansion modules will be soon be receiving a large shipment of colonial supplies. Shall I acknowledge clearance for the bay officers to get things setup to receive?” NE Bill asked.

Captain Becket had sat there listening to NE Bill was saying and asking. “Yes, by all means. Allow them to have clearance for the bay officers to get things setup to receive. I want to get those orders as soon as we can. Once we can. I’d like to get a all senior staff meeting for this one as well. If you can have the orders sent to my ready room. I’ll have the meeting within 5 to 10 minutes.” Becket responded.

Shinichi Yoshida was standing at his post a little ways from the captain’s chair, overseeing the bridge. When the Captain announced the staff meeting, Shinichi nodded and said, “I’ll assemble staff and have them in your ready room by 04:40, Captain.” He began to organize the department heads on the bridge to head to the ready room and pass down their stations to their support teams. Then Shinichi went to the Operations console and entered in a general message for the computer to deliver to the remaining Department Heads.

Moore was finishing up his morning preparedness for work on the bridge for 0500, but the call came in to meet earlier. He finished up quickly and grabbed a padd and a cup of coffee before leaving his quarters. On the padd, he pulled up the tasks and reports from the last two shifts of helm on the bridge, as well as reportings from the shuttle bays. Everything seemed to check out well enough, although there was of course always continual work to be done. Mechanical and electrical systems always needed maintenance and support.

Chief Moore arrived on the bridge and headed for the readyroom, just a minute prior to the 0440 call. “Good morning, sirs,” he said to the CO and XO.
