It was just before 0430 hours in the morning with those on night shift into this early morning hours keeping things ticking over until 0500 hours for the shift change over for the day shift crew to come relieve them. The Ark Angel was currently docked in stationary orbit of Starbase 243, awaiting orders for their next mission to come in. Almost to the exact second as 0430 ticked over NE Bill at the rear communications station spoke up to the officer of the shift. “Sir? Commodore Stone is hailing from Starbase 243, seems they got a mission packet to send over with orders and information brief for the senior staff. We’re also informed that our assorted cargo bays, including those for our expansion modules will be soon be receiving a large shipment of colonial supplies. Shall I acknowledge clearance for the bay officers to get things setup to receive?” NE Bill asked.
