Izak walked through the decks of the USS Ark Angel, and he couldn’t help but grin as he approached Main Engineering. A Mythology class ship! With a Flea’tan Jump Core! he enthused internally. He didn’t think he could have chosen a better assignment. The newly minted Ensign Waryn did his best to mask his excitement… he would be working with these people soon and didn’t want to come off as too green.

He slowed as he arrived at Main Engineering, taking in the full view of the Warp Core and the engineers moving about purposefully. His fingers twitched slightly, and part of him wanted to get right to work, but he knew there were some formalities he needed to take care of first. A faint grin crept back onto his face as he approached the Chief Engineer’s office and pressed the button to request entry.

Once given permission, he entered and announced himself. “Ensign Izak Waryn reporting for duty onboard the USS Ark Angel, Sir.”

OOC: oh but the CE was not in his office I am on the floor helping out with the rest of the grease monkeys.

Riley was working at a warp diagnostic station. As he looked up he saw the new Ensign with big eyes and looking around he waved a hand to let the Ensign know where he was “over here Lad” he said with a thick Irish accent “maybe you can help us. The warp field has been kicking up with a lot of interference so we’re having to adjust plasma flow but I am curious about the field and interference. Ensign boras can’t find the cause of it” he said
