Having had his meeting with Ezeami in security, Yoshida made his way to engineering. While he was able to perform adequately in his engineering studies in order to pass both the academy and command training, he could admit it was not his strongest subject, and so had great respect for those who could understand the intricate mathematics and engineering involved to make this their profession. Some of the best and brightest in the federation came from engineers, and their genius paved the way for this dazzling universe they all currently share and continue to blaze a path towards an even brighter future.

Walking out of the lift onto the engineering deck, he stopped a moment to marvel at the Warp Core on display in the center of the room. He had always marveled at the power that propelled the ship along, defying what was once considered immutable laws of time and space. He stepped through the bustling engineers around him and walked to the deck that overlooked the Warp Engine, hands behind his back, and a soft smile on his lips.

Riley was in the side office in engineering level and saw the new XO and stepped out to great him “top of the morning too ya mate. So your the new XO my name is Lt. O’Nell I am the one keeping this rust bucket together” he said extending his hand to him
