Effective immediately, I am officially announcing an Out-of-Character Change of Command for the USS Ark Angel. This transition is being made to improve the overall flow, structure, and consistency of our roleplay environment. My goal is to ensure the Ark Angel continues to operate as a high-quality, story-driven starship, with clear leadership and smoother organization behind the scenes. With this change, players can expect more regular updates, mission pacing improvements, and a more reliable command presence going forward.

One of the first major changes coming with the new command team is a restructuring of how missions are created, launched, and concluded. Story arcs will be mapped out more clearly, and mission briefings will be delivered earlier to give everyone time to prepare. Additionally, the command will emphasize character development moments between missions, ensuring players have space to explore personal arcs without slowing down ship operations. You can also expect more interactive mission events, NPC involvement, and cross-department collaboration.

I am also implementing clearer communication for OOC direction, concerns, ideas, and feedback. A dedicated command inbox and optional weekly check-in thread will be available for anyone who needs support or wants to contribute ideas for storylines. The new command structure will be focusing on transparency—meaning you’ll always know what’s happening with the ship, what missions are coming next, and what the expectations are for each role. No more confusion about who to contact or what step comes next.

In terms of expectations, all crew members—new and old—can expect a more stable environment with consistent pacing, better organization, and stronger administrative oversight. This change of command is not meant to disrupt anyone’s character direction or ongoing story, but rather to enhance the quality of RP you experience on the Ark Angel. Leadership will be encouraging initiative from players, collaboration between departments, and constructive feedback that helps grow both the ship and the storyline.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for their patience, creativity, and dedication to the Ark Angel. Transitions like this are a natural part of any long-term RP community, and with this new direction, we’re excited to strengthen the story, smooth out operations, and create an even more immersive and enjoyable Starfleet experience.
