Liam was finishing up his last science briefing at Starfleet before leaving on his new assignment aboard the USS Ark Angel.

Liam knew it was going to be a long, tiresome flight getting to the Ark Angel. He headed towards the closest shuttle bay to request a shuttle for him to use to get to his next assignment. A short time later, he was chatting with the quartermaster to get his shuttle showing his I.D. and his orders to the officer so that there were no issues in acquiring a shuttle craft or runabout. The officer looked them over and confirmed them with his computer. As he pointed to a small runabout USS Tiger.

Liam gathered his belongings as he moved toward the shuttle craft. Luckily, he did not require a pilot to be assigned to him as he was a good pilot. As he used the code key to enter the craft as the doors opened for him as he entered he placed his items in a compartment just off the bridge area as he took a seat, and started dealing with the pre-flight checklist.

He grabbed a quick drink from the replicator, drank it down fast, the placed the glass back into the machine. As it disappeared, he took his seat as his fingers danced across the control panel. As he tapped the com channel. “Starfleet operations, this is the USS Tiger requesting departing instruction?” Liam said calmly to the tower. “Departure granted on vector 7 Follow the USS Valiant till you clear the outer defense marker.” The officer cleared him.

“Pleasant voyages, USS Tiger. Starfleet operations out.”As the officer finished and closed the channel. Liam activated the anti-gravity engine that lifted the craft a few inches off the ground as he prepped the impulse engine and warp drive to stand by. As he started the launch sequence and the runabout slowly moved out from its space to exit the shuttle bay doors to the inner space dock.

He saw the Valiant a short way in front of him as he approached and adjusted his speed to follow the larger starship out of space dock. A also followed the valiant to the outer marker. Before Liam adjusted his heading to the ark angel. As he used impulse to reach the outer planets, he came past Pluto. As he engaged the warp drive as the ship slowly went into warp with a small hum.

Liam thought to himself ~Finally, I am on his way~ As he sat back and let the autopilot take the helm for a moment. As he got comfortable in his seat. He took control back from the computer. “Computer send a message to the Ark angel of my arrival in about an hour or maybe less. So we can set a place to meet up.” Liam asked the computer. The computer beeped with the request and responded back. “Message sent!”

occ: Some shuttles are transferred to another vessel heading back towards the station. Some are programmed to return by autopilot, others keep the shuttle or runabout considered an extended loan to the vessel till such time they can return it or become part of the ship’s complement of auxiliary vessels.

Alex hears the comms on the ship and looked over. “Open a channel.” He said to NE Alexis. “Channel open commander.” Said NE Alexis.

“USS Tiger this is the USS Ark Angel. We have received your message we are sending our coordinates to you right now.” He said to the tiger.
